MINADER Lays Foundation Stone of RVCDP Management Unit in Bamenda!
The Minister of Agriculture And Rural Development (MINADER), Gabriel Mbairobe has laid the Foundation Stone for the Project Management Unit (PMU) Office of the Rice Value Chain Development Project (RVCDP).

According to MINADER, the Unit will have a dedicated team focused on coordinating efforts, monitoring progress, and ensuring effective implementation of initiatives through job creation, skill development, economic growth, food security.
“The RVCDP is designed to create a robust framework for rice production, processing and marketing. By investing in this project we are investing in the future of our agricultural sector”

Expected to create jobs and boost the economy of the country, the Building located at Customs Junction, Bamenda Up Station will consist of 5 floors, 2 elevators, 2 Board rooms, office space, kitchen, lavatory space and lodging facilities for partners and guests of the project.
The PMU building is inclusive as needs of physically challenged and persons living with all forms of disabilities have been considered.
The ceremony brought together Administrative, Religious and Traditional Authorities from the North West and West Regions.
