AMBOTABE Hotel Officially Launched in Mendankwe, Draws Top Dignitaries.

AMBOTABE Hotel has been officially launched in Mendankwe this Friday October 30th. The launch took place in the presence of administrative, traditional and political authorities who hailed the project as a boost to local development and job creation.

The Mayor of Bamenda I Council, Mbigha Felix, said he was pleased to see such development take place within his municipality. He praised the quality of service at AMBOTABE Hotel and urged guests to patronise the business while considering setting up similar ventures. 


The Director General of MIDENO, Mr Cletus Anye Matoyah, said he was delighted that one of his closest collaborators had put up such a structure. He encouraged other collaborators present to emulate the example. He also appealed to the Fon of Mendankwe to be receptive when approached by other investors seeking land for similar projects.


The Administrative Director of CDENO, Mr Shupong Micheal, congratulated the management committee and promised to patronise the hotel when possible.


Presenting the facility on behalf of the management committee, Mr Awung Eric took guests through the units that make up the structure. The first is a reception attached to the general duty department.

The second is a laundry and cleaning department equipped with sophisticated washing machines for bedding. 


The third is a beverage, food and drinks unit, which doubles as the audit unit in charge of purchasing items and is assisted by a stores accountant who dispatches supplies to the other units as needed. 

The fourth is a logistician in charge of purchases made outside the house. 

The fifth is a bar attached to the kitchen, serving breakfast and grilled fish at the restaurant. 


The sixth is an events hall, which is near completion.



His Royal Highness, the Fon of Mendankwe, who was also present, poured royal blessings on the management committee. He expressed satisfaction with the hotel's management, noting that the palace welcomes the project because it creates jobs in Mendankwe, brings development and beautifies the village.



Guests were given a guided tour of the structure and visited all operational facilities.



Other personalities at the launch included the Mayor of Bamenda II Council, Chenwi Peter, among other dignitaries.

AMBOTABE Hotel is located beside Ecole Des Champion, New GRA, up Station BAMENDA.
