Government Strengthens Dedication to Rice Production, Agricultural Development and Youth Empowerment at RVCDP 6th Steering Committee.

In a significant move to enhance Agricultural productivity and support Regional reconstruction, the Government of Cameroon has reaffirmed its dedication to the Rice Value Chain Development Project (RVCDP). This commitment was highlighted during the 6th Steering Committee Meeting chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Gabriel Mbairobe, in Bamenda. Minister Mbairobe characterized the RVCDP as a central element of Government policy under President Paul Biya. The initiative aims to boost Rural incomes, Alleviate poverty, and assist in post conflict recovery efforts in the North West and South West Regions. “This Project aligns with the President’s vision for elevating living standards in Rural communities, creating job opportunities, and combating poverty,” said Minister Mbairobe.
