Health: Cameroon receives 331,200 doses of antimalaria RTS,S vaccine ahead of December 23rd National Immunization program!

​The Government through the Ministry of public Health has received 331,200 doses of a vaccine that would protect children under five (5) years from malaria. 

With about 70% malaria deaths in Cameroon and 32% in children below 5, the RTS,S vaccine would be inserted into the National Immunization program beginning December 23rd 2023.

 Cameroon it should be noted is 4th among 3 other African countries where the vaccine has already been administered; Ghana, Kenya and Malawi.
