New Slaughter Facility Handed Over in Bamenda: A Leap Forward for Local Livestock and Fisheries Development The North West Development Authority (MIDENO) has officially handed over a state of the art animal slaughter facility in the Bamenda III Subdivision. The newly constructed infrastructure was transferred to the Bamenda City Council during a ceremony held on Tuesday. Exchange of Signed Documents between City Mayor & MIDENO DG. This project is part of the Livestock and Fisheries Development Project (LIFIDEP), which aims to enhance the livelihoods of local communities through the development of the livestock and fisheries sectors. Funded by the Government of Cameroon in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), the initiative focuses on providing modern slaughter facilities for various livestock, including cattle, sheep, goats, and poultry, ensuring the availability of fresh and hygienic meat products.
